This FAQ has been designed to give you precise, transparent answers at every stage of our collaboration, from initial contact to delivery of your final images.
The type of property, its location, the number of rooms to be photographed and the number of photos required are the main things to bear in mind when you contact me for a quote.
It takes about a week to get an appointment to shoot your property.
It's essential that the property is ready to be photographed. To do this, remember to open the shutters, make the beds, sweep the floors inside and out, and unclog the pool if necessary. Table settings (for breakfast or lunch) are a real plus.
There's no ideal period: the only constraint is the vegetation. If there are few evergreens on the property, it's best to organize the shoot between April and October. However, a true professional will be able to obtain photos that show the property to its best advantage at any time of the year, while avoiding gray or rainy weather.
Interior and exterior photos, drone views, virtual tours, simple retouching, advanced architectural retouching, styling and decorating assistance, removal of distracting elements, creation of moodboards are just some of the services I offer.
For a classic real estate shoot (interior and exterior views), a basic package of 250€ HT to 350€ HT is required, depending on the type of property. This fee includes travel (Avignon and 30 kms around), basic retouching (lighting) and transfer of photo usage rights. Optional extras can be added: reception of photos within 48 hours: €100 excl. tax, network-optimized export: €50 excl. tax, moodboard: €50 excl. tax/hour, advanced retouching (removal of distracting elements, architecture-style rendering): €70 excl. tax/hour.
For architectural shoots, prices are calculated on a case-by-case basis, according to the complexity of the request and the resources required.
If several properties are located nearby and it's possible to organize the shoot on the same day, transportation costs will be diluted. I also apply a 10% discount for recurring projects.
Travel costs are included for the Avignon + 30 km perimeter. For other locations, transport costs are calculated on a case-by-case basis.
In rare cases, or for projects with milestones, payment can be made in several instalments.
Deposits are requested when expenses are incurred by the photographer: working with one or more models, renting furniture for the photo shoot, travel or accommodation expenses for larger trips.
A typical photo shoot (10 to 20 photos) lasts about 1 hour. For larger projects, particularly in architecture, it can take several weeks, depending on the customer's needs.
Professional equipment with full-format sensor and premium lenses. A tripod is also mandatory for professional renderings. I also have a drone and flashes if needed.
Retouching for classic real estate reportage includes retouching of light only. For all other types of retouching, please refer to point 2 of this FAQ.
Your presence is welcome. I can also work independently if that is your preference.
The session is postponed and rescheduled to take advantage of the best possible light.
Photos are supplied in JPEG format, according to the desired resolution, and are exported for publication on the website. For social network rendering, please refer to point 2 of this FAQ. RAWs will not be supplied.
The average delivery time for photos is one week. However, it is possible to have them within 48 hours under the conditions mentioned in point 2 of this FAQ.
It is possible to request a new round of alterations. Times and costs will be specified according to the request and the amount of work required. Point 2 returns to the hourly rate for alterations.
The basic transfer of rights includes commercial use of the photos in France, for 3 years and for your website and social networks. For other uses, please let me know your needs so that I can draw up a precise quote.
The production of real estate and architectural photos requires a specific, artistic technical framework. It takes several years for a photographer to master all the subtleties of this photographic specialty. It's only to be expected, therefore, that the quality of the photos will suffer.
Ideally, you should know the characteristics of the building or property to be photographed, so that you can plan the best time to take the photos. This allows you to have the sun shine on the facades identified as the highlights of the building, and to play with light and shadow for interior shots.
By defining the objectives of your needs as clearly as possible beforehand, and ensuring that these needs have not changed on the day of the shoot, it is rare for the result to disappoint. However, if this does happen, it will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Note that a photographer is not subject to an obligation of result, but only to an obligation of means.
For each project, the question of confidentiality is raised. It is possible to draw up a document governing the use of photos. However, I will never mention a customer's name in a project without their agreement.
It's by no means compulsory to use a photographer to sell or rent a property. However, professional-quality images will help your target audience to see you as a serious, caring company when you use a professional photographer. Also, the number of visits can be much higher if the property is shown in its best light.
Any use is possible as long as you have the appropriate rights assigned by the photographer, who is the author and owner of the photos.
